The interior for Chilicates Cantina at Dot Block is conceived as an immersive dining landscape, a place where color, texture, and light shape the experience from the moment guests enter. The bar becomes the heart of the space, its curved form wrapped in patterned tile and warm wood, inviting guests to gather beneath a canopy of suspended greenery. Overhead, linear wood slats filter light across the room, creating a quiet rhythm that guides the eye toward a vivid mural celebrating cultural expression and artistry.

Every element is considered for how it feels, how it sounds, how it lives within the larger space. Soft plantings contrast with the crisp geometry of steel shelving. Natural materials meet vibrant color. The interior remains fully contained within the existing envelope, yet the design creates an entirely new atmosphere, transforming the space into a destination where people linger, connect, and return.
