Prefabricated construction, or “prefab,” is a method of construction that is becoming increasingly popular. This strategy uses components made off-site in a factory, which are then transported put together on-site to create a structure.
In 2020, DRT had the opportunity to bring affordable tiny homes to Jackson, Wyoming. In this particular project, we partnered with Modular Mechanical Solutions (MES) to tackle our unique set of challenges building these Ski Lodges. Through this collaborative process, MES delivered modular skids that were constructed off-site, reducing time, improving safety, maximizing usable space, and ensuring quality installation.
In hopes of improving efficiency and reducing waste, DRT would like to take on more prefab projects in the future.
