Shane Duarte

Shane earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Roger Williams University and his Master of Architecture from Northeastern University. He joined DRT in 2025, bringing a strong technical foundation and a focus on detailed project execution.

At DRT, Shane plays a central role in the development of construction documents and overall project coordination. He works closely with the design team and consultants to ensure that each project is fully resolved, technically sound, and aligned with building codes and industry standards.

With a detail-driven and solutions-oriented approach, Shane focuses on translating design intent into clear, buildable solutions. His ability to think through complex conditions and coordinate across disciplines ensures that projects move forward efficiently and are well-prepared for construction.

Prior to joining the firm, Shane worked at a design/build practice, where he gained hands-on experience navigating zoning regulations, building codes, and construction coordination. Known for his precision and problem-solving ability, he is a key contributor to the technical strength of the studio.
